Deadly predator Conus geographus emerges from Sri Lanka's coast, specimen PRI 54489 a testament to its lethality. This snail, notorious for devouring fish, has claimed at least thirty human lives through its venomous sting. Housed in the Paleontological Research Institution's collection in Ithaca, New York, this specimen measures approximately eleven centimeters in length. Modeled by Emily Hauf's skilled hand.
