I remixed the original design from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2254785, as the original wouldn't fit on my system. I made this new version using the same proximity sensor plate screw holes. Upon installation, I noticed that the back plate was too thick and would hit the frame before reaching the X endstop - just a few millimeters away. To fix it, I used a thin copper wire to hit the endstop before the extruder assembly touched the frame. Alternatively, you can make the back plate 3 mm thinner and it will no longer hit the frame.
