This tool makes holding a DuPont female connector in the SN plier (Orange handle) incredibly easy, ensuring crimping is done correctly every single time. There are just two minor issues with the SN plier crimp tool that need attention. First, the wings for coating must be slightly bent inward to prevent them from bending outward around the coating. Second, after crimping, the part tends to be too flat to fit into plastic housing properly. To fix this, use the front of the plier to shape it like a "square." Although this can be tricky to describe, you'll know when it's done right – the part will simply click into place every time. Enjoy using this tool! P.S. I designed and tested it in FreeCAD first, including both design and STL files. After getting it working, I wrote an OpenSCAD script that generates the same STL file. This makes it easier to read and modify if needed. Keep in mind that modifications may be necessary due to different plastic shrinkage rates – that's why the source design is included. To ensure a tight fit for the connector, make sure the hole is snugly fitting. My prints were a bit tricky to insert at first, but holding it steady while banking it into place made all the difference. If done correctly, the connector should go in loosely on the first try and then fit tightly afterward.
