The SMX-31 submarine is a concept of what the submarine of the future could be, radically changing tactics at sea. This model is 1:350 scale and measures 228 mm considering that the prototype is 80 meters long. The details are optimized for the scale and can be printed on any 200 x 200 x 200 printer. It has two support bases one simulating the seabed and another much simpler base. In the base that simulates the seabed, the printed vertical supports can be replaced by transparent acrylic cutouts or by cutouts from an old CD ROM from which the metal part has to be removed.
