Box for Smoothie Board 5xC Ensures Unobstructed Air Flow and Efficient Cable Management. Pylons positioned strategically around the outer edges guide wires into place, while adding an extra layer of security with screw-on lids that utilize M3 screws. One side effortlessly slides into position, while the opposite side features notches in the lid and bumps on the case for a secure yet easy-to-remove fit. Fan holes are carefully spaced to accommodate an 80x80 fan, optimizing airflow throughout the enclosure. A convenient hole on the front accepts a 12mm button, which can be repurposed as an external reset button for the smoothie board – a feature that I've implemented by wiring it in myself. For those interested, I used the following Amazon product (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XR8TP2K/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) as the external reset button. When printing the enclosure, be sure to add supports for the wiring passthrough and smoothiboard access panel to ensure a seamless build process. Nine counter-sunk holes on the base offer versatility in mounting locations while keeping screws safely away from electrical contacts and wires. I personally mounted mine on a rounded surface using the central holes on the case. For added visibility, I opted for transparent Tglase on the lid, allowing me to easily identify which mosfets are active.
