I created a custom backer plate for my smoother boards using Tinkercad, marking a significant milestone in my designing and printing endeavors. The dimensions of the plate are crucial to its functionality. The base measures 30mm x 40.5mm x 2mm, providing a stable foundation for the smoother's operations. A 4mm diameter post rises from the base to a height of 5.37mm, with a critical dimension of 3.5mm extending from the bottom edge. This design ensures seamless integration with my BigTreeTech Smoother v1.0. This backer plate has been carefully crafted to meet the specific requirements of my smoother boards, showcasing my growth as a designer and printer.
