Smoothed Lockbox

Smoothed Lockbox

This remix is based on McPorsche's Lockbox design. I wanted to add a custom name to the box, but working with Fusion 360 proved challenging due to its inability to import STLs effectively, so I rebuilt the box from scratch using Fusion 360. In the process of rebuilding, I rounded off the outer corners for improved impact resistance and added a guide to the lid interface to make it easier to align correctly. The original base files are massive (1200 mm long), which is why I had to scale them down to 16% using CURA to get them to fit on my Ender 3 base. If you prefer, the box can be made longer to accommodate a 45-degree orientation, but this would necessitate an abundance of support structures. I plan to print these designs once I've completed some upgrades, but I decided to share them now in case someone else wants to start working on them. Unfortunately, I'm unsure about the best 3D format for allowing people to manipulate the files, which is why I also included a set of Sketchup files, noting that Fusion 360's .f3d file format wasn't supported.
