Smooth and silent filament tube guide for Anycubic i3 Mega

This is a smooth and 100% silent filament feed guide designed specifically for the Anycubic i3 Mega. Due to its unique curvature, the filament naturally follows its path without being forced or guided too tightly, allowing for seamless movement forward and backward with the extruder. I created this model after an extensive search for a silent filament guide that wouldn't produce any scratching noises during feeding. This first draft works perfectly, but it can be improved upon; feel free to add your own embellishments. For more information on the filament holder and guide, check out Daniel Sypke's excellent blog post in German at sypke.de. To print this model, I recommend enlarging it by 109% in the slicer and printing it lying flat. This will ensure an evenly round hole for the filament tube, which must fit snugly inside. With a little patience, you can easily turn the tube without any issues. To assemble this guide, you'll need: * 1x M3 15 mm screw * 1x M3 washer * An 8 cm filament tube (such as a standard 1.75 mm tube available on Amazon) Cut the tube using a sharp knife or carpet cutter, taking care not to compress or deform it during the process. Some alternative models I've tried in the past include: * A popular pulley model that produces scratching noises when pulling the filament over the plastic roll * A more complex filament guide with an almost 180-degree angle, which can make feeding difficult I've found that combining this filament guide with a great filament roll holder from Cults3D creates a perfect pairing. This model prints in about 23 minutes and is easy to install. Its simplicity belies its effectiveness – try it out and let me know what you think!
