Smoler HYPR
thingiverse
I'm going to post new prints on my Prusa account because Thingiverse is making it too hard to upload here: https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/114667-racerethan/prints. This experiment aims to create the smallest HYPR possible. The only essential parts are a modified top rail, Wunderbar, yoke, and plunger. The other components are optional and can be omitted if you want a smaller overall size but still maintain functionality. You'll need to download the original HYPR files for any missing parts. Required modifications from the base hardware include: * Cutting the plunger tube to 2.6 inches or 66.04 mm. * Using an elastic band that's 20+-1 inches long, or simply purchasing an Esper elastic band. * Attaching a length of 3-32 elastic cord to tie the trigger. Performance-wise, this modified HYPR delivers slightly less power than the standard model with its normal plunger. On average, I achieved 60 fps with 10 cut bamboo darts, one band, and a 1-1/2 petg barrel on a Saturnus chronograph. In contrast, an average of 67 fps was recorded using 11 AF pro darts, two bands, and a 2.5 inch petg barrel.
With this file you will be able to print Smoler HYPR with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Smoler HYPR .
