Smokey - 2019 - FRC 5145 WolfBotics

Smokey, our robot, was built for the 2019 FRC game: "Destination: Deep Space" by WolfBotics, where they designed and engineered key features. The drivetrain stood out with its custom West Coast setup that incorporated custom gearboxes for enhanced performance. At 4x6 inches, the wheels were robust omni wheels that facilitated precise maneuverability. Smokey's elevator system showcased innovative engineering as a three-stage continuous elevator coupled seamlessly with a 2-joint arm. Introducing efficiency in ball handling was the multi-purpose intake designed by integrating both floor and hatch inputs, demonstrating versatility at its best. Furthermore, we strategically designed a climber to climb levels two and three, however consistency proved to be an issue; only Smokey's drivetrain and ball intake successfully executed tasks throughout every competition.
