Smoke Fountain Incense Burner

This incense burner smoke fountain does not only add a nice scent to the room, but also looks fascinating when the smoke flows down towards the ground. The design is based on the soft flowing character of nature and is a kind of mixture between a tree and a fountain. In order to achieve this flowing and soft design I learnt how to design models in VR, just for the #POLYMAKERCHALLENGE . The model out of SculptrVR then got some finishing touches in Meshmixer. To start the spectacle, light a backflow cone and place it over the hole on the top platform. In my experience you get the most smoke out of your cone, if you remove the lighter a few seconds after smoke comes out of its bottom. Keep in mind that depending on the material you print this design with, the fountain will melt if you let the cone burn down too low! I printed it in PLA and it worked great, I just have to remove the cone a bit earlier so the platform doesn't start melting. I don't know why the 3D-preview is not working correctly... I have checked the file with Meshmixer and 3D-Builder and it is fine. (even downloaded it from Cults and checked the downloaded file). Maybe 35mb is too much for the preview... I hope you have fun with my creation and if you like it leave a like! Greetings from Austria, Your Austrian Maker PS: If you print and like this file it would be great if you could post a picture! ; )
