Smoke detector replacement shell
thingiverse
Because mandatory smoke detectors in Belgium are now costly, I designed an affordable alternative to the expensive options available. The original model relies on three flat batteries, whereas this new design uses a single 9-volt battery for power. In one of the attached images, you'll see the original device along with its internal PCB, which I'm unsure can be reused by others. To facilitate modifications and remixes, I've included the design files. Please note that this is a work-in-progress; the parts have not yet been printed.
