This effort aims to facilitate the process of measuring unsoldered Surface Mount Device (SMD) components. Some components display markings, but others do not, particularly capacitors. Following printing, wires need to be soldered onto metal plates and then glued in place as seen in the images provided. Next, insert the plunger into the body; initially, it will be tied but eventually locks in place, allowing for free movement. Connect the model to a measurement device, noting that any component tester can be used for this purpose. To take measurements, simply place an SMD component within the designated pocket and press/hold the plunger during the measurement process.
