SMD Soldering Clamp

SMD Soldering Clamp

The general concept borrowed from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2900194 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2772207. However, plastic and a soldering iron, or even more so a soldering fan - these things just don't mix. So, I created my version of the clamp using available materials that won't melt under high temperatures. The only plastic parts are the swinging mechanism and the cork. The base is made from Wenge oak wood. Aluminum profile rail: 15 * 2 * 70mm. Aluminum tubes with a diameter of 6 * 1 * 38 mm - two pieces, and 6 * 1 * 15 mm - one piece. Stainless steel pin with a diameter of 2 mm and length of 30mm. Rolling shaft with a diameter of 3 mm and length of 24 mm. Threaded stud M4. And the spring is compatible in size, as well as nut butterfly M4. Countersunk head screws M3 * 6mm. The components are glued together using epoxy resin.
