SMD Magazine Tweezer Drawers
thingiverse
robin7331's SMD magazine is cool, but not really suitable for tweezer pickin, this magazine "cartridge" has 4 tiny tweezer drawers instead of a tape carrier. Notch in front of drawer so you can pull it open with tweezers, grab the part, push it back. Drawers have a stop so they can not be accidentally removed, Not a lot of space to label the drawers, but you can do it. Print Orientation === Print the drawers upside down without support and enable ironing, print the chassis flat on it's back and enable ironing, print the cover whichever way and enable ironing. Shim/Sand Drawers === To prevent accidents you want the drawers to be a light friction fit, depending on your print you may need to either sand down, or shim up. Masking (painters) tape works quite well for a shim, just stick layers on the rear top section of the drawer, or the bottom slide, and test fit, add layers until you get it it so it can be easily slid out but not so easily that the drawer can fall open out on it's own. Top Cover === Simply glue th top cover on, you only need a couple dots of glue top and bottom to hold it in place. OnShape Document === Here's my [OnShape document](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/fda4c57a395c74ea6dcd70a2/w/33899bb4e7493037ab5739a6/e/4b29dc4630ee345ff9f61436?renderMode=0&uiState=62de4c7cd7d79f03889556b4) if you want to tweak it about for your own purposes.
