SMD component storage system (Reels, Cut Tape, Singles, WorkTray)
thingiverse
Hello there, this is my storage-solution for SMD-components of various sizes. The intended uses can be taken from the Images.A basic understanding of OpenSCAD scripts might be required.Everything is parametric and scalable. The images just show examples. All the variables that i found practicable are in the global parameters.Implemented is:-a tile-based labeling system-a stackable holder for whole 9mm-reels ala thing-3475545 with integration for my labeling system-a holding system for Cut-Tapes-a tray-style storage solution for very small tapes or single components-a tray for active workingall the major parts can be embossed with custom text for easy inventorizing. The storage-parts have double labels so that one of them can be taken with the components while working for easy tracking of witch is witch. This script is to best of my knowledge fully functional using the few global parameters. That being said this is, and will probably always be "work in progress" and subject to change. I will obviously take no responsibility for the prints produced using this script. I am also very aware that this script contains certain very "unpolished" sections, sorry :). This will probably be changed in future revisions. Also excuse the sloppy printjob for the Labels in the images, i printed them a little to fast for the small Arcs and corners i suppose.I dont know if the remix with thing 3475545 is actually an "remix". The script as of now implements its own version of the 9mm-reel-holder. This is however very closely modeled after thing 3475545 and is even compatible. It has just been remodeled for faster render times when batch-generating holders with embossed labels. OpenSCAD did not enjoy the high polygon count. Feel free to let me know smoehow if there should be changes to this "citation". Cheers & happy printing -LSBEdit: idk why the text formatting of this description is so wierd. i tried to make it better but nothing changed for me. I hope this is just on my end.
