Hub for SMD Component / Super 8 Film reels. Reels come in various widths so holders need customisation. Holders consist of two parts that secure the reel firmly in place. They slide over a bolt - like a shoulder bolt - and include a spring to lock the cap's ridges into position on the rod. Design focuses on constructing with minimal support needed. Customizers should note that compatibility issues might arise until it uses a more recent version of openscad. Using a shoulder bolt for the axle yields the best results. Cleaning up the axle holes by drilling them out is preferable to making them excessively oversized.
