SmartThings Hub (gen2) Minimalist Wall Mount
thingiverse
Minimalist wall mount for Smartthings V2 hub printed in white, nearly invisible. Print with supports for prongs that snap over top. Hub is a unique asymmetric rectangle where one end is higher than the other, so ethernet/power cable cutouts make it easier to orient. Designed to use US generic screws, likely only one needed, but can add as many as desired. Hub is light enough to skip anchoring to a stud entirely. I have both zigbee and z-wave devices on my system that are at the edge of range, so orientation is crucial for maximizing antenna strength. Added an antenna layout diagram from v1 hub, told it's the same layout for V2 based on personal experience. Originally placed hub next to wifi inside a brick fireplace, which was sub-optimal. I'm proud of this design and would love suggestions for improvement.
