Smartthings Door Contact Magnet Standoff

My buddy recently acquired a Smartthings Hub, but he ran into an issue with the trim on his door being too far away for the magnet to make contact. To solve this problem, I crafted a custom standoff that would bring the two components together seamlessly. As you can see from the attached photo, it was a successful DIY project, and my friend is thrilled with the results, reporting that it works like a charm!
