This is a detailed description of my self-designed SmartSwitch module for controlling rollershutters. The PCB of the SmartSwitch fits snugly within its protective covering. By operating the module at mains voltage, the active components and pins are safeguarded against direct or indirect contact. As a welcome benefit of the coverage, all SMT-components on the underside are shielded from mechanical harm. I crafted the back cover for the module using FreeCAD and 3D-printed it with my reliable Anet A6 printer. The entire project can be accessed at https://github.com/Necromancer1982/SmartSwitch.
