The Z-motor shaft holder is essential for the Smartrap 3D Printer. It accommodates both 5mm motor shafts and 5mm lead screws, providing ease of use. Initially, I struggled to locate it individually; thus, I removed it from its original SmartRap build plate. Previously, a different shaft holder caused Z-axis misalignment, leading to non-linear movement. However, this component ensures proper alignment between the motor shaft and 5mm lead screw for smooth, linear motion. Secure assembly with M3 bolts is necessary.
