It was great in 2013, but now there are much better kits available at cheaper prices. Despite being viewed, downloaded, and used after all these years, it feels a bit crazy. * Update 10/23/2014: After a thorough GitHub cleaning, updates to all three plates, and new STL parts. New features include linear guides holder updates with screw pressing for better tightness, no more z-coupler (we had issues with it), using vinyl couplers (ID4mm, OD6mm) that are cheap and work great. * Update 09/01/2014: All plates with debugging fixes: endX_jhead had a wrong GT2 holder, plate_base had too tiny support for the screw on Z axis, new bearing_clips on plate X. Fixed issues with endstops not being aligned well with endX and endY parts. * Update 08/19/2014: All plates - back to jhead Lite by default, as it's easier to find and source with great results. New clamps for LM6UU to have better locking. New endY with two screws for better tightness. Plates X and base now have GT2 holders by default. For other systems, see GitHub. A new zip file with all parts separated is available! * Update 07/28/2014: Plate_1 updated - there were still issues with mirrored objects (glass holders). It's now fixed. * Update 07/17/2014: Direct drive extruder default changed back to brass insert gear (7mm) for easier sourcing. Base plate has a more solid base for Z rods and a hole to add a M3x10 for stronger fixing. Other minor changes. * Update 07/01/2014: New plates (all three) - there were mistakes in parts: bad side for printing, not good size for MK2 tensioners. Updates also include direct drive body for M4 nut, stronger. * Update 06/19/2014: Version 049 becomes the release! New features include anti-wobble system, 6mm rods, separated extruder, 200x200x160 print size, GT2 belt. * Update 03/12/2014: All models synced from production model on GitHub - improved parts with a more solid or easy-to-assemble update. Corresponds to the accompanying parts in the current picture and soon-to-come documentation on smartfriendz.com. Also used in assembly videos. * Update 02/13/2014: BOM updated. * Production update (01/17/2014): All models changed a little everywhere for better integration, assembly, and stability. Option for hot-end - end_x\_jhead or end_x\_huxley for Huxley-type hot-ends that will be used in smartfriendz kits. * Update 01/05/2014: Fishing line holders missing in this version - now back. Sorry for the mistake. * Update 01/04/2014: Plate_base, plate_x, lm8holder\_x - all about endstop switch attach. It was not very well working, not enough space. Now it's okay. * Update 01/02/2014: All ends X Y - rod holes were too big. Now back to 8mm. * Update 12/29/2013: Jhead attach was missing. New plate_x - snap M5 with nuts was not right (too big). * Update 12/20/2013: New version - all updated! Note you can find old versions in the reorganized GitHub in the old folder. What's new? Structure now printed, auto-leveling bed, new supports for easy-to-remove glass bed, new plate_x more stable, adjusted bearing holders. New video showing auto-leveling bed: [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k6T-Epg0EI](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k6T-Epg0EI) * Update 12/12/2013: New plate_base - there was a mesh problem for slicing. This version works well with Repetier Host and Slic3r. * Apologies! (12/10/
