The design and functionality of the original were very convincing for me. However, it was essential that this universal mount fitted perfectly on a tripod with ¼ inch Kodak thread. That's why I reworked the original to meet my requirements: - The ball joint was removed. - A guide for the rubbers was filled in. - A web was added to the upper part to accommodate a spring. - Holes were drilled into the lower part for screwing in a spring-fixing screw. - The lower part was thickened, and a recess was added to fit a ¼ inch nut. Additionally, you will need: - 1 x spring measuring 35 x 4.5 mm - 1 x ¼ inch nut - 1 x M3 threaded screw with 2mm length Thanks to 3DIYOriginal for the original.
