Smartphone Pocket Tilt Stand

I've always been searching for a compact "Pocket Smartphone Tilt Stand" that I can take with me wherever I go, whether it's in my pocket or placed on a table at home or work, making it readily available whenever I need to use my Smartphone. The stand had to be small enough and lightweight to fit easily into my pocket or my wife's purse so we could access it anywhere. With these goals in mind, I designed this small "Pocket Smartphone Tilt Stand" that works with most tablets as well. This model is also highly scalable. I print it at 100% for most Smartphones; at 150% for small tablets; and at 200% for larger tablets. They print quickly and require minimal post-print finishing. I typically print mine in PLA, but I think ABS might produce an even better model. Given how fast they print and how useful they are, you may want to consider printing extras to give as gifts to friends and family. I've printed some in Black, while my wife likes the Light Blue and light Yellow ones I made for her. When I print these using my preferred settings – Resolution="Standard"; InfIll=20%; Shells=4; Layer Height=0.15mm; Raft=On – they all turn out well and require only a minimal bit of post-print finishing on the "bottom" end (as printed). Have fun printing and using one or more of these small Tilt Stands, and please let me know if there are any improvements I should consider. Printers' Specifications: My versions are printed on a MakerBot Replicator 5th Gen printer with settings as follows: Resolution=Standard; InfIll=20%; Shells=4; Layer Height=0.15mm; Raft=On. They have all turned out very well and only require a tiny bit of post-print finishing on the "bottom" end (as printed). Scaling: Use your Slicer's "Scaling" capabilities to adjust the stands according to your needs or preferences. I print mine uniformly scaled at: 100% for most Smartphones; 150% for small tablets; and 200% for larger tablets. Adding Non-Slip Bottom: I thought about adding a non-slip bottom, but I find that my cases provide enough friction, and leaving them as printed in PLA allows them to slide easily on a table. This utility is beneficial for my uses. I have a silicone case on my iPhone, which causes the stand to cling while it slides easily with the phone when moved slightly on the table. My wife’s iPhone with a leather case works well too. Your results might vary. Suggestions: Your suggestions are welcome. -mike
