Update: Added an angled version of the ball joint connector for improved angle and increased connection strength (5 screws instead of 1). This phone mount is my most complex design yet. The two round ball joints are held together by the outer shell components that are firmly clamped with a M3 nut and screw. I recommend using robust materials such as PETg or ABS, and reinforcing the flat section of the ball joints with two-part epoxy glue/resin. I also used 2-component epoxy glue/resin to reinforce the joints, after finding that 3M double-sided tape was insufficiently strong. A non-branded version will be added once I get to it.
