Smartphone Microscope

thingiverse

This smartphone microscope is specifically designed for classroom use. Position the table precisely and adjust the focus exactly with the help of the threaded rod. The assembly requires specific parts and a bit of soldering, if desired. To assemble the device, you will need: three M8 x 120 mm threaded rods, eleven M8 nuts, twenty-five square centimeters of Plexiglas, thirty centimeters of Ninja Flex rubber band, one lens, and one smartphone. The lenses used in this microscope have a magnification level of around 100x. For better results, consider adding LED's to transform it into a transmitted light microscope. This requires one to three LED's, one switch, one resistance (calculate accordingly), and one nine-volt battery.
