Where do people typically keep their phones when on the move? Without thinking, it's common to either hold the device, especially indoors, or tuck it into one of their pockets. However, this often leads to awkward situations when sitting down or needing access to keys, identification, credit cards, or cash. So, more frequently than not, as soon as people sit down, they place their phone on a nearby table, desk, or chair. It's then sometimes forgotten when standing up. Looking for one's phone is an everyday task for everyone. This behavior has become so automatic that most individuals don't even think about it. Nevertheless, there is a simple solution. With this parametric holster designed in OpenSCAD, you can 3D print a custom case specifically tailored to your smartphone. I've been using mine for over two years now and have printed several for others with complete comfort and without worrying about it. It's both convenient and comfortable, whether sitting in a chair, driving a car, riding a bike, or walking. Inside the holster, a layer of self-adhesive felt protects the phone and screen. When printed with accurate measurements, your phone will not fall out, even when running or hanging upside down. The only variables required are the width, thickness, and height of your phone, as well as the thickness of the type of felt you'll use. Print Settings: Printer - Mankati Fullscale XT/XT-Plus; Rafts - No; Supports - No; Resolution - 0.1-0.2mm; Infill - 30%; Notes: This smartphone holster is designed to be printed without support, thanks to the sloped angle for belt loops. If unsure, you can add supports anyway. When printing, cover the inside of the phone with thin self-adhesive felt to protect the screen. The thickness of this can be incorporated into your design.
