Smartphone Holder for Car Navigation

I own a 2007 Yaris, and right in front of the speedometer on its dashboard, there's a convenient spot where I can rest anything flat without it rolling away. So, I created this vertical stand for my iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 - they both fit perfectly, even with their phone covers on, which adds almost 12mm to their thickness. This stand has been very handy because I can quickly grab my phone whenever I need it and easily put the holder away when it's not in use. November 11th, 2016 update: I added another version that lets you use rubber bands to give the stand more grip instead of relying on sticky pads like the previous version which can become too dusty or ineffective over time and may even fall off. This greatly improves stability during turns. It also stands the phone upright rather than at a slight recline, making it perfect for in-car conference calls with video.
