Smartphone handle for skateboard filming

Smartphone handle for skateboard filming

thingiverse

This is a handle designed for holding your smartphone while filming skateboarding sessions. The commercial version, known as the hotshot handle, is quite pricey considering its functionality. As an alternative, I've created a DIY handle that should provide similar results at a lower cost since it can be printed at home using a 3D printer. Unfortunately, I don't own a 3D printer myself, which means I couldn't test this design firsthand. If anyone is willing to give it a try and report back on their experience, please feel free to share your findings by posting an "I Made One" entry on the project page. Keep in mind that this design may not be perfect as I'm still learning the ropes of 3D modeling. Any feedback or suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated! To assemble the handle, you'll need a few additional items: Medium rubber bands to secure your phone onto the pegs Stick-on rubber pads to prevent your phone from sliding on the plastic
