Smartdoll Bust Stand
thingiverse
I'm completely new to 3D printing and even more clueless about design, yet I managed to print this successfully and it works exactly as intended. This is a framework designed specifically for creating display stands using Smartdoll busts and heads. The vinyl pieces in the pictures, which are the exterior bust and head, are creations of Danny Choo, and you can find out more at https://shop.smartdoll.jp/ if you're not familiar with his amazing dolls. This stand was created to showcase floating heads. I deliberately kept the neck peg narrow to prevent stretching the vinyl and turning your doll into a 'bobble head'. As a result, the head comes off very easily, so you might want to secure it with a small clip on the inside like I've shown in the pictures. It's not absolutely necessary, but it gives me peace of mind in case it gets bumped.
