Here's our latest evolution of the smarttrap family: The smartalu. Building on the success of reprap, we're moving to all-metal construction frames, bigger printable volumes and improved quality. This printer boasts a 27x26x25 cm printable size, with every module crafted from 3mm aluminum lasercut parts and some carefully printed components. The frame remains our sturdy 20x20 aluminum structure, assembled using Bosch Torx 6x16 screws and precision-drilled profiles. We've yet to find a better system for building a solid framework.
