After weeks of design iterations I came up with a slim design for a wallet that can hold up to 9 cards and mimics a traditional wallet when storing bills. I set out to make a wallet that was small, easy to use and still looked awesome for a 3d print and traditional for a wallet. Each part has been designed to be easily assembled and printed with no supports. The wallet comes in two versions. The main one with folding outside, that hides the bills as it closes. The other one which just holds the bills, but requires no postprocessing to get the wallet to fold. The main one, that comes with the outside that folds, requires some postprocessing after printing. The folding is achieved by heating the part to about 60-65C in the printer bed, folding the piece in the middle and letting it cool, so it remembers that folded shape. The only part that may require adhesive is the bill holder. Ejector and card safety, should move freely so no glue is required.
