SMART Stormwater Sensor Assembly
thingiverse
This is an assembly for mounting PASCO water quality sensors as seen at the SMART stormwater institute at the University of Maine in 2017. It consists of a mount that holds the sensors firmly in place using friction. The mount securely holds PASCO's wired temperature, conductivity, pH, and dissolved oxygen water sensors. It threads directly onto a standard broom handle with four threads per inch. The threads used are ACME 0.75-inch diameter threads. A cable sleeve was used to conceal the wiring from view. Zip ties were employed to attach the airlink to the broom handle. The cage is optional, but can be attached with zip ties to the holes on the side of the mount for added protection of the sensors. There are two versions of the cage available, both of which easily connect to the mount. The difference between the small and big cage is that the bigger cage has thicker walls and is more robust, while the small cage is more flexible. Attached are all files for each part. Included are the following: STL - A standard file describing part geometry with a mesh. Please note that units are in millimeters and no scaling is required in your slicer. GX - A pre-sliced file for printing on your FlashForge Finder. FPP - A FlashForge FlashPrint file. Printing parameters can be adjusted without importing and changing the orientation of the STL. STEP - A STEP file. F3D - The original Fusion360 design file if you want to make changes.
