This is a 3D printable version of the smart settlers of catan board as mentioned in this article: https://www.hackster.io/news/playing-settlers-of-catan-on-a-custom-made-smart-game-board-cd6b58c56562 Source code is not mine but available for download at: https://github.com/S-March/smarchSettlers_Public I've printed these parts in PETG with a brim of 8mm on an Ender 5 Plus. Afterwards I glued them together. The rest of the process is followed like in the hackster article. I didn't use the backplane for wire management, I think I'm going to print some legs and hot glue the wires to the back of the board. I've made a few changes in the code to fit an ESP8266 instead of the custom controller board PCB and to display the commodities and corresponding numbers on boot for an easier game setup.(you've got to install the ESP8266 library in Arduino IDE to flash) I ordered 30 of the HEX with LED PCB's but you can also glue addressable LED strips in the HEX shaped openings. The HEX light diffuser plates are printed with white PETG in a few layers. CAD available on Github. As I am still working on this object, the pictures are during the build process. I will update when it is complete.
