We wanted to create a smart flower pot stand and this is the first version of our final design. In future, I aim to make it wifi/bluetooth connected, but this initial version is straightforward and anyone can handle the electronics. Designed in Fusion360 Electronics -------------- To bring this project to life, you'll need just three essential components: 1. Arduino Nano (available at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Nano-V3-ATmega328-CH340G-Micro-USB-Pin-headers-NOT-soldered-Compatible-for-Arduino-Nano-V3-0/32664577152.html) 2. Programmable LED strip (available at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/DC5V-1m-4m-5m-WS2812B-Smart-led-pixel-strip-Black-White-PCB-30-60-144-leds/32337440906.html) 3. Soil Humidity sensor (available at https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Smart-Electronics-Soil-Moisture-Hygrometer-Detection-Humidity-Sensor-Module-For-arduino-Development-Board-DIY-Robot-Smart/32328189936.html) With these three components, the total cost is under $6. Code ----- The code for the Arduino is a simple color interpolation based on the reading from the soil humidity sensor.
