I crafted it that way so the home button on my tablet remains covered after deleting everything else, thereby preventing accidental app exit. The tablet will be used solely to control the house from the main entrance, and disabling the alarm requires entering a pin code. Additionally, I set up Alexa to activate the alarm remotely. This entire app was built using Aio Creator Neo, which boasts several features such as a weather station, real-time house status, cameras, and more. I also invested in Instar Camera and Philips HUE plug-ins for enhanced functionality. The Smart Home system runs on a Homematic CCU3, which is essentially a Raspberry Pi-based device. Future plans include integrating Homematic IP to control various aspects of my home environment. For those interested, I'll create an updated version tailored to your specific tablet model - just let me know! If you do decide to use this customized version, feel free to show your appreciation as electricity costs in Germany are quite steep, thanks in part to Chancellor Merkel's policies.
