Smart fish feeder

Smart fish feeder

thingiverse

Here is a smart fish feeder that lets you set 14 positions for feeding your fish. It gives just the right amount of food while you're on vacation, making sure your fish stay healthy and happy. This feeder is designed specifically for pellets or other hard fish foods, not flakes. An Arduino Nano fits perfectly inside the box, with room to add a Stepper motor and control board as well. I've programmed my Arduino to feed once a day, but you can easily change this setting. I've included files for two different sizes - one is very small. The box and lid are the same for both sizes. You'll need an Arduino Nano, stepper motor, stepper board, USB cable, and power supply to get started. Use glue to attach the plate to the stepper motor securely. You can also use glue on the turntable, but make sure it still rotates freely. Keep in mind that an Arduino without a clock module may not be 100% accurate, but I believe it's good enough for fish feeding purposes. Thanks to @trevor_DIY for designing the turntable, which you can find here: https://www.instructables.com/id/Betta-Fish-Feeder/.
