I installed a print cooling fan setup for my Duet Smart Effector with a Volcano hotend, utilizing a 50mm radial fan that fits snugly into the fan opening after minimal sanding to avoid splitting the case. I test-fit and adjusted as needed, ensuring a secure fit without compromising the fan's integrity. Electrical tape provides added insurance against any potential issues. I'd appreciate feedback on the ring-to-hotend fitment, as I've refined my design through several iterations. Good insulation is crucial for the hotend, which is why I opted for a silicone boot and retained the 30mm fan on its blue clip, where it serves the cooling fins effectively. Notably, #3 is slightly shorter than #2, so I'd recommend starting with that one first. However, keep in mind that #2 is closer to the hotend on one side, so your mileage may vary.
