This adjustable support arm is engineered to securely retain the Smart Effector within a Think3DPrint3D Kossel XL Plus, even when its substantial weight causes it to shift after powering off.\r\nAs this issue often arises following the installation of large fans on the Smart Effector, I created this customized support arm.\r\nTwo M10 screws serve as counterweights, enabling the support arm to maintain an open position without external assistance. When the Smart Effector reaches its home position, you can press down on the support arm and hold it in place until the printer is powered off. Once that's done, the Carriage Adapter will drop into the support arm, securing its position. Upon restarting the printer, simply rehome the Carriage Adapter for the support arm to release its grip, allowing it to return to its original open state.
