I'm using a SMART_bike_tail_light_clip that might work with Planet bike tail lights. The small holes on the clip are 1.2 mm in diameter and were designed for inserting a rod into the clip - such as an 0.8 mm carbon fiber rod. The rods can then be glued to the clip with CA adhesive to boost its strength, although I've yet to determine if this approach is effective or not.
