Here's the second Rpi version of SMARS Zero, an upgraded UGV designed as a remix of the Zerobot project. This model boasts several key features, including night vision mode and a USB rechargeable built-in battery. To build it, you'll need to gather these components: motor driver: https://amzn.to/2PK0lVg (unless using a SMARS V4 chassis) camera: https://amzn.to/2Laaf1L RPi: https://amzn.to/2UwlvtQ battery holder: https://amzn.to/2YKEdUj Battery: https://amzn.to/2Kt3CsI Alternatively, you can use the SMARS V4 chassis or the SMARS basic version (https://goo.gl/pzx6fs), which requires printing a motor driver holder. PRO Tracks are available at https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/pro-tracks. For software, follow the original Zerobot tutorial: https://goo.gl/4tcDFm. You may need to rotate the camera image by editing /etc/rc.local in a text editor and removing "-vf" and "-hf" from this line: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/mjpg-streamer/ /opt/mjpg-streamer/mjpg_streamer -i "input_raspicam.so -vf -hf -fps 15 -q 50 -x 640 -y 480" -o "output_http.so -p 9000 -w /opt/mjpg-streamer/www" > /dev/null 2>&1& We extend our gratitude to Wingman94 for their exceptional software and the innovative idea.
