#SMARS mini XL: a robot that fits in the palm of your hand! **This design is a work in progress.** It gets around pretty well for such a small vehicle, but I'm still improving the physical design as I go. If you build one of these and have any suggestions let me know! ### Current hardware and software: https://github.com/mrjadkowski/SMARS-mini-XL/ Check the latest release to see the current hardware configuration and accompanying code. The GitHub repository also has the most current .STL files in the "CAD Files" folder; I do not keep this thingiverse page as up to date as the github repository. This is a stretched version of the SMARS mini that is designed to completely encase an Adafruit Feather RP2040 or similar-sized board. The USB connector is exposed at the back of the body for programming and charging. There is space between the motors to hold a motor driver board, and space above the Feather for a small lipo. The front face is designed to hold a small ToF sensor, but any 1" breakout board (i.e. STEMMA QT boards) should fit well on the front of the robot, with an appropriate carrier designed by you. In its current form all the electronics are less than $50 USD.
