PRESENTATION : A Humble Contribution to the Modular Robot SMARS. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2662828 This 4x4 version of the original model has four motors with a 150 rpm gearbox, replacing the two-motor chenille design. ASSEMBLY : Assembly is very simple and requires no screws. PRINTING : The parts were printed in PLA (the tires in TPU) using a Franken3D XL, requiring no supports. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2741406 Scale: 1 CABLE CONNECTIONS : Connecting the cables is easy: four motors and a 9-volt battery to connect, with only the BlueTooth HC06 module to be soldered onto the Motor Shield. PROGRAMMING : The goal of this robot is education; a basic Arduino program is included in the Thing Files (it requires installing the AFMotor.h Library). https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-motor-shield/library-install This program allows SMARS to move using the ANDROID Bluetooth Arduino Tank app, serving as a starting point for understanding and developing custom programming.
