This was designed for my lightsaber thrower, YouTube of my experimentation with it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q97qotXkA6k - Launcher is http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:792506 I needed a not-full-scale lightsaber without being too picky about details. I also required a hole down the middle for a shaft. If you want a full-size and more accurate saber, look at my take on the Obi-Wan Kenobi version: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:626171 I intend to use this with L3-G0 the full size Lego R2-D2 - Check out L3-G0's YouTube Videos https://youtu.be/PmXUBGq_uiU Instructions I combined elements from several models, but none fit perfectly. This design isn't flawless, but one model seemed remarkably off. I compared it to pictures of the stunt saber Luke caught from R2-D2 in Return of the Jedi at http://www.partsofsw.com/jedsab_2.htm I printed everything on Medium at a .2mm layer height using my Replicator 1 clone. Supports were only needed for part number nine, which I printed facing down. One "part one" pommel bit has no hole if that's what you prefer. The original switch I copied appears too short, so I created a taller version that may be preferred. My print weighs less than 40 grams and about 1.5 ounces.
