Specific instructions for Unreal Engine Textures setup: UE4 Texture Setup Guidelines 1) Import Base color, Normal map and Roughness-AO-Metallic maps, which are pre-baked into a single, comprehensive map. 2) Double click on the Roughness-AO-Metallic node to turn off sRGB for correct behavior in the shader system. 3) To utilize the shader, create a material in UE4 and connect the three maps: Base color (connected directly), Normal Map, and the combined Roughness-AO-Metallic. Note that some of our models do not have an additional normal map - proceed as is with those cases. In regards to linear colors for this node: To switch UE4 to Linear Color Space from gamma or other options: Simply access Edit -> Project Settings -> Player and look at "Other settings", then navigate to the right to find ColorSpace; select the linear option here. This can also ensure better image display on some screens if used before final processing.
