Small vice
cults3d
Small 3D printed vice intended to be mounted securely on a bench or wooden desk. To print: • Two chest pieces (100% infill) • One base piece (20% infill) • One carriage piece (20% infill) • One shaft piece, either hřídel_1 or hřídel_2 (100% infill) • One screw piece (100% infill) • Optional: one handle piece and one additional handle piece (20% infill) Assembly: Print all parts. Depending on the material used, you may need to clean the thread on the shaft with a file. After filing, carefully cut through the carriage's thread. Attach the chest pieces to both the base and carriage. Connect the carriage to the base by pushing the shaft through its hole in the base. Secure it with the screw piece (insert it into the ridge on the shaft). If you printed hřídel_1, use a nail to push it through its hole. Attach the vice to your wooden desk using screws. Optionally, print two additional parts and attach them as described below. You will also need a metal rod with a 5mm diameter or a long M5 screw and an M5 nut. There is a small hole under the large hole in the base. Bend the rod into an "L" shape and insert it into that hole, cutting the M5 thread on the other end (if using an M5 long screw, bend it as well and remove its top part for use with a wrench). Then slide it through one handle piece, attach the M5 nut to the other handle piece, and screw it in. You can now attach this vice to any table based on the length you have left on the rod or screw.
