This small wind turbine can be almost entirely printed out, consisting of various components like midassembly (x8), findimensions (x32), bottom brace (x 2), two perm magnets, a 6mm Dia, 3ft smooth rod, and a mounting board. Kit2 and Kit3 contain updated versions of these components. The cost of the printed parts is estimated at $32 or half of a 5lb spool. Assembly requires a 6mm 3ft long smooth rod, 3mm screws, and 4-inch tall fin assemblies. The bottom brace holds up the fin system using repelling magnets for levitation. As a user without a reprap assembled, feedback is encouraged to improve this design.
