Small USB b panel mount
thingiverse
One of my projects required a compact USB B panel mount, but commercially available options were too large and prohibitively expensive. To resolve this issue, I designed and created a custom small USB panel mount that is easy to print and significantly cheaper than its commercial counterparts. To assemble the mount, you will need to print parts A and B and source a vertical USB B socket (available at http://goo.gl/aWAl8p) as well as a small M3 bolt. Having some super glue on hand is also recommended. If the USB B socket and part A do not fit snugly together, apply a small drop of super glue to secure them in place and prevent any potential loosening. Print Settings: * Printer Brand: Ultimaker * Printer: Ultimaker 2 * Rafts: None * Supports: None * Resolution: 0.2 mm is acceptable, but 0.1 mm would produce a smoother surface. * Infill: 100% * Notes: I highly recommend printing the mount with a layer height of 0.1 mm for optimal results. For reference, I printed it at 0.2 mm and achieved a satisfactory outcome.
