Small Under Desk Drawer

My goal designing this drawer was to use as less material as possible while keeping it sleek and solid. That is why I decided to use PETG, because it sticks very well to itself, and you can make pretty thin walls with it.Also, if you follow my instruction, the layers of the drawer will be crisscrossing with the layers of the top support to achieve better sliding. Moreover, printing the top of the drawer standing up will help make it more solid because the weigh of the drawer won't pull the layers apart from each other, but will only pull the on material itself.If ever you use other materials, I'd be happy to get your input!PRINTING TIPS:Firstly, If you skipped the previous section, I recommend PETG for this printI calculated all the angles so that the drawer doesn't need any support. To do so, you need to put the top piece with the flat ‘beam’ facing your printing plate, so that the object is vertical. It will most probably wiggle while it's printing, but this piece will be under your desk, so it doesn't matter much. The drawer part should lay flat on your printing plate.For the speed, you will need to go slow enough because the walls are thin and petg won't bond to itself if you go too fast.. I wouldn't go over ‘normal speed'. Of course, if your printer is enclosed, maybe you can go faster. If you go too fast, your pieces will just crack at nothing.I printed my drawer on a Prusa Mini+. I wouldn't say the print is perfect, but the quality is good enough. Just so you know, with some settings, the stoppers wouldn't show up on my model, or they would just be too weak. Printing slow enough also helped that. ASSEMBLY:I recommend drilling holes in the top model and use short screws to fix it to your desk. You can also glue it, but for me it fell after a few months.
