I completely rebuilt the robot and uploaded it under a new name: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2945089. This small robot chassis is now available for anyone who needs a compact platform for their project. I decided to upload it in case someone else wanted a simple robot base that was easy to print. Printing this design requires a flexible filament, such as TPU with 95A shore hardness, which works perfectly well for the treads. If you want the motor clips to function properly, print the chassis in PETG or a similar flexible material. Since there is no cover provided, it's up to each user to decide what their project requires. The front compartment has a small indent and two holes at the back that can be used to create a snap-on lid or any other necessary component. To secure the wheels, use whatever fits snugly in the chassis. The wheel hole is larger than usual to prevent friction. In my case, I used 3mm copper fencing wire to fasten the wheels, but a more elegant solution would work much better. These are the motors I chose (they clip in and stay in place): - A 600rpm motor that offers a good balance of speed and torque: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/DC-12V-600RPM-Micro-Speed-Reduction-Gear-Motor-Metal-Gearbox-Wheel-Shaft/32674463757.html - A 2000rpm motor that is extremely fast - it might even be too fast for some projects: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-DC12V-2000RPM-N20-Micro-Speed-Reduction-Gear-DC-Motor-with-Metal-Gearbox-Wheel/32796653338.html I used a 450mAh 3s lipo battery, but anything that fits in the compartment can be used.
